CASCADIA.FM is a network of streaming radio and podcast shows based in the Pacific Northwest. The network was originally launched in September 2009 as PDX.FM and, as of September 2010, has approximately thirty shows that reach upward of 25,000+ unique listeners across the region and the world every weekday. Most of the shows premier live on either a daily or weekly schedule, and nearly all are available for download from iTunes as well as from the individual shows’ websites within 24 hours of airing.
Listeners can stream CASCADIA.FM through a variety of devices, including computers, smart phones, and internet-enabled radios. Additionally, listeners can interact directly with show hosts through online chat windows during live shows. CASCADIA.FM usually streams from 24/7, with new programs every day. Listeners can download MP3 podcasts of almost any previously aired shows at their leisure.
